MISSION: Northwest Free Press is dedicated to promoting economic prosperity and fiscal responsibility through public policy solutions grounded in the American values of individual liberty, personal responsibility, equal opportunity, the rule of law and limited, responsive government.

Welcome to Northwest Free Press. On May 25, 2011 we formally launched a new online journal dedicated to analysis and discussion of public policies that promote economic prosperity and fiscal responsibility.  Our first premise is that these objectives are best achieved through a renewed commitment to the foundational American values of individual liberty, personal responsibility, equal opportunity, the rule of law and limited, responsive government.

Unique to the region, Northwest Free Press focuses on local, state, national and international issues of importance to people in the Pacific Northwest.  In addition to a growing panel of regular contributors, we will feature occasional pieces written by guest contributors, and we welcome submissions from others.  In addition to original content, our site provides links to selected news and commentary, including regular feeds from local and national news outlets, columnists, blogs and websites.

We at Northwest Free Press are committed to providing analysis and perspective on issues relevant to all Northwesterners, whether they live and work in our populous urban centers or in towns rural communities throughout the region. We invite you to send us your comments, suggestions and submissions. We hope that you spread the word to your friends, neighbors and networks. Northwest Free Press provides an opportunity for vital, substantive discussion of issues important to the future for those of us who have chosen to live and work in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Please join us at NWFreePress.com. If you have questions, suggestions or submissions, email us at info@nwfreepress.com. We hope you will join the conversation.
